Hiromi's new CD

I think pianist Hiromi Uehara's new CD "Time Control" is a masterpiece, one of the best CD's I've heard in many years. There's no weak spots...starting with superb compositions, the ensemble playing is killer, and the soloing, from Hiromi and Dave Fiuczynski on guitar, is mind boggling at times. They avoid the cliches one so often hears in jazz/fusion; their concepts are technically way advanced, but with deep feeling and humor at times. Fuze is also getting his micro thing happening; he'll be at Reinhard's fest in May, and is studying Indian and Turkish music at the New England Conservatory...he's reaching a lot of kids at Berklee as well, and sending them home with some fretless and new tuning ideas...check out the CD, it's a masterpiece...Hstick

Dave sent me a Cd a few years back ( possibly on your suggestion) is he still working in 19et?

I have to go out and get this.
Her previous album, "Spiral", wasn't too shabby either.
