have a great melody line in 11-et, you could start the ball rolling by
seeing how it sounds in all 11 modes of Hanson[11]."
The other day I was looking at 31-et to provide an 11-et approximation

This is the 14deg31 11-note MOS. Looked at as a temperament MOS, you
can take it to be the 11-limit 31&42 temperament with generator of 11/8
if you wish, but for 11 notes it's the 7, 11, and minor thirds which
count. (11/8)^4/(7/2) = 14641/14336 is the comma which counts if you
are looking at it as an exclusively 2,7, and 11 system. 31 is a good
tuning for it.
