Dear Sir. I am not member and I would like to send a little message to
members of your List. Can you do that for me, thank you in advance.

Book release: "History of Musical Acoustics", by S. Donval, Fuzeau
publishing, France. It deals with temperament, tuning and just
intonation, among many other things about musical acoustics. For more
information, please go to "http://serge.donval.free.fr"."

I just put it on reserve here (Case Music LIbrary) for Ross Duffin's tuning seminar. Because it's on reserve, I haven't really dug in yet (except for what was necessary to catalog it) but it looks good, and one could get quite a bit out of it even if one doesn't read French.

At last check only 4 WorldCat (mostly US) libraries had it, so it might be hard to borrow.
