The post of George Pepper's to which I was originally referring to is

This gent managed to put statements in my mouth that I never made. He
certainly evinced no live-and-let-live additude at the Delian Society
list, as far as his opinions of tunings were concerned. He takes pains
to appear reasonable (if conceited) on his own blog, but he was far from
reasonable when someone didn't take his "ex cathedra" pronouncements as
unassailable truths:
