A Week in the Life Of...

Creators!

Eight days ago this place didn't exist, except in preparation. What
happened in the following seven days after that is roughly:

- growth from 1 member to 35

- 150 messages

- more than 8 pieces either linked or uploaded

- one piece that became a collaboration by (at least) 3 people

- some very good, centered topics (workspace / time management,
the processes of composition, critiques)

All in all, a very nice start. And, as three of us hoped so much, all
of this done in a spirit of cooperation and respect for each person's
ways and needs. I like.

To end this little tale of a week-old community, here is an article
(not about music) that shows one way for civility to make a sharp
right at the corner and head south for good. It includes frank, adult
language, but the lesson (learned?) is why we like to think a few
moments before hitting the "Send" button. Read only if you can afford
