This may be a good opportunity to announce that the AFMM is producing the
Jon Catler CD which presents his AFMM doings. It is the second of 5 new CDs
that are missing 3 hours of studio time, and the cleaning up of liner notes. I
am pleased to have played a big role in these recordings.

Re the Terpstra, Joel Mandelbaum is working with his instrument, and there
is a second instrument in Toronto. It pains me to say that there is no magic
way to reduce the price as I had hoped. A list must be gathering for the
price to come down. The NY Terpstra still misses variations in timbre which can
be rectified by the use of a separate synthesizer. Until that time, they
will cost $8,000. each. More as it develops.

all best, Johnny Reinhard

There's a good chance I could pay 5. How many people would have to
be on that list?

Are you planning to put together a proposal? Are there detailed specs
for the instrument?
