Software Sequencer "Piano Roll" skins

I'm assuming many of you here are familiar with using at least some
variety of software sequencer program, i.e. Cakewalk/Sonar, Cubase,
ProTools, etc. Well, I use Cubase, and I do a LOT of note-by-note
hand programming of synthesized passages in my 12-tone music, and
lately I've decided to stop being so lazy and start trying to use some
microtonal-friendly softsynths to add some flavor/accompaniment to my
microtonal project (which has been sitting untouched on the back
burner for almost a year now while I've been working on several
12-tone albums and one of "non-tonal" sound collage). Drums and
guitar may work for the White Stripes, but I desire more timbral colors.

However, it's a mighty pain in the ol' keister trying to compose in 17
or 22 when you're stuck with a rigid 12-tone piano-looking grid on
which to place your notes. Anyone got any idea how I might get rid of
that piano-image in the Cubase piano roll grid and maybe replace it
with something more micro-friendly? I'm using Cubase SL 3, if that helps.

Cheers,
