Hi

Sounds of the The Gold Lyre of Ur replica, 2650 BC , are featured in Douglas Irvine's CD, Ambient Egypt <http://www.williamsound.com/ambient_egypt_cd-main.html> . The recording features dozens of ancient instruments from Mesopotamia and Egypt.

I like the clips on the site very much. The tuned drums are very cool, especially in bes.mp3. The harps and lyres are nice too. My only complaint is that there is too much reverb, especially on the flutes. The varied skill on all these instruments is impressive.
