Yes, I tell conservative academics (and warmongering) politicians that
this is a new century that they have had their day and that their time
is over. Traditional universities and conservatories should rename
their institutions "The Institute for the Study of Rather Old Music,
Written by Dead People, mostly German, with the Occasional Foray into
Modernity to Keep up Appearances" (suitable acronyms welcome) : -)
