Dear Jon,

Congratulations on some fine renditions, which I take as a great
compliment to my music, and also to Yahya's (although I speak only for
myself, of course).

Since making lute intabulations or arrangements of pieces for
ensembles is a fine 16th-century tradition, I am deeply moved that you
would do this for one of my compositions, and very nicely!

Also, while I haven't yet had a chance to hear all of the music on
this Web page, I might call attention to a beautiful piece called
_Elizabeth_ that I'd strongly recommend to anyone as music worth
hearing and enjoying.

Again, congratulations on your new site, and the music you've made
available there.
