I, for one, am thrilled that this is happening. I've read about so
many East Coast and Not Washington events that it's just a pleasant
surprise that I can actually hear some of this music played live. And
drag my friends, too.

I'm even more excited that one of the events is at Gallery1412, a
venue that I have been to in the capacity of Performer, Audience, and
Staff.

People who are going should wear some identifying mark (MMM somewhere
on there person, perhaps?) because I definitely want to see the faces
behind these posts.

Jon,

I'm sure that most, if not all, of the people are happy to see this happen. What you probably aren't aware of, as a newer member, is that the names mentioned as not being part are known personally by a good number of us, and also some of them are right here on the West coast, just perfect for inclusion. Microtonal happenings are so few and far between that it seems a shame to have such a small number of performers.

My only other thought is that there is plenty of material for another festival next year. And I'm sure sorry I can't make it up there for this one - it's been a bit too long since I've had my characteristically good times in Seattle!

Also, it has been kinda quiet from AJK and CB about a proposed bash in Chicago - boys?

Cheers,
Jon

Ironicly, those are my hands and guitar that are in the photo on Catler's bio page.
