Peter Blasser, experimental instrument and effects designer whose
creations have been well received and used in the DC and Baltimore
avant/noise/whatever music scenes (as well as some other parts of the
world), just released his latest instrument, the Sidrassi Organ:

"The Sidrassi Organ has seven pressure sensitive bars which you press
to express the seven tones within. These seven tones can be randomly
set to any frequency by use of the buttons on the front face of the
instrument."

Peter usually releases a build-it-yourself kit version of his synths,
and the page indicates the Sidrassi Organ will be no exception. So a
kit might be worth considering if you want to save some money. Plus,
you can make your own decisions as to what component values to use,
etc. He's pretty helpful too.
