Hi all

http://240edo.tripod.com/id3.html

After reading keenan's message on pelog , i used 18 equal divisions of
1215 cent (18-ED(1215.)) to make a music in this scale :

0: 1/1
1: 135.000 cents
2: 405.000 cents
3: 540.000 cents
4: 675.000 cents
5: 810.000 cents
6: 1080.000 cents
7: 1215.000 cents

Thanks all to share their musical feelings of piece with me . The
orchestral music
<http://240edo.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/orchestr.m
p3> you heared , was composed and retuned with scala only one time . so
no need to put different mp3 parts to each other.

And about hi-fi stereo version of it , dear aaron , do you mean to have
different instrumental tracks in two channels for hosting? Yes?

Since this doesn't contain any odd-numbered pitches of 18-edo, it's
really a subset of 9-edo, right? But it sounds like you used some of
the odd-numbered pitches in your piece.

The piece sure doesn't sound much like gamelan, but it's eerie and enchanting.

Well, we could do this either by:

1) having you send me the MIDI file, which I could edit, assuming you haven't
already, to have instrument panning info in it. I could then produce an audio
realization of it with fluidsynth or timidity. Once you approved of the
product, I would then post it on my site and credit you as the composer, and
say "Listen to this great example of microtonality from my colleaugue on the
tuning list" or some such blurb...

2) You could do the audio realization in stereo with panning as you see fit,
and send it to me, and I can post it on my website as above.

But, I think this is too good not to have at least 192kbps mp3's or some
equivalent. I'd be happy to host it!

Best,
Aaron.

Dear Aaron

It is your kind to do that.

I will send midi file after a little work on it.
