Hi,

Robin Whittle is a man of eclectic interests. He has made some fascinating mods to classic electronic music machines, including the Yamaha DX7 and his "Devilfish" mods to the Roland TB-303. See: http://www.firstpr.com.au/

Here is a link to a page of his thoughts on "Music Marketing in the Age of Electronic Delivery" in 1995, updated in 1998 and 2002:

There is much to ponder here ... anyone interested in how to get their music heard may find some worthwhile ideas, as well as speculation.
Regards,
Yahya

Indeed, there are some good principles to mull over there. But when we're talking about the "electronic" age, 3.5 years is a *long* time, and that is the last update to his page. I hope he'll revisit the topic and address some of the developments that have occurred - technologically and culturally - since Oct. 2002.

Cheers,
Jon
