This doesn't sound that great to me. Pelog works well with stretched
octaves (>1200 cents) and slendro with squeezed octaves (<1200 cents),
which is obviously impossible if they are combined into one scale.
Also, is there a good reason why this is rounded to steps of 48-edo?

I tuned my keyboard to pelog totally by ear, without looking at the
display. Here's what I ended up with:

0
382
526
687
1058
1210

The octaves were all at least 1210 cents. This is pretty close to TOP
mavila, which means the theory agrees with my ear. Which is good,
because otherwise it wouldn't be much use as a theory. But it might
not agree with your ear, so to each his own, I guess.
