Greetings, Gene!

I agree with Jacky!
It's a beautiful treatment, anyway.
Please don't hesitate to hang out another shingle. Hee!
Sorry I took so long to listen to it, crazy days...

You seem to have followed up a posting by Jacky which for some reason
never got to me. In any case, thanks to both of you for your comments.

The piece is in 11-limit JI, though the opening "happy whistle" part
and the closing Materna theme are in 7-limit.

The tuning does not transform so much as modulate--there are harmonic
sequences which I simply let run rampant. The score therefore gets
pretty strange looking, here is a part of it:

0 note (1331/750) 100
0 note (1331/875) 100
0 note (9317/4000) 100
0 note (1331/600) 100
0 note (1694/375) 100
0 note (2662/875) 100
0 note (102487/18000) 100
0 note (9317/1800) 100
0 note (1331/750) 100
0 note (1331/875) 100
0 note (9317/4000) 100
0 note (1331/600) 100
0 note (1694/375) 100
0 note (2662/875) 100
0 note (102487/18000) 100
0 note (9317/1800) 100
0 program 14
0 note (9317/14000) 800

You get the picture, and it's not one you'd want to hand to live
performers. :)

Thanks! You are wrecking my self-image as a cranky curmudgeon, but I
appreciate it.

The next one is in an actual scale, by the way.
