Planet Tree Music Festival - second weekend

🔗Lawrence Ball <Lawrenceball@...>

Dear Friends and acquaintances
Planet Tree Music Festival continues this Friday and Saturday (9 & 10
November) at Conway Hall and the October Gallery.
Do come to both concerts if you can,.......see press release below.

The Friday will be a rare opportunity to hear Tania Chen play the piano
music of Alan Hovhaness, who died in June 2000, and also of Lou Harrison.

Saturday will be a concert of music spanning 23 years by myself, Lawrence
Ball, with a broad array of solo, duo and quartet compositions, plus solo
improvisations. This is perhaps the most comprehensive concert I will yet
have put on, covering most of the areas in which I work (improvisation,
harmonically patterned scores, the more intuitive scores and also some
retuned synthesizer, courtesy of the prolific musician/composer and scale
designer Jacky Ligon (from North Carolina, USA)).

Here's the programme (see also http://www.planettree.org)

best and highest regards to you
Lawrence Ball
