Scala problem

Hi everyone, I have a really puzzling problem with scala:

when I try to retune a midi file, it says "Error in file format," and
if I try again it says "File could not be created." Further attempts
oscillate between these two messages.

The funny thing is, it was working before! And the source midi file
is playable.

Does anyone know why this could be?

I'd send the midi file to Manuel, but send him a letter first, as some
addresses don't allow you to send an attachment. You can find contact
