Hi
Is there any microtonal neoprog out there? Thinking of something
along the lines of these below:

Stephen Szpak
The closest to neoprog may be Charles Carpenter. He has two cds out of
heavy King Crimsonish music in the Bohlen Pierce scale: Frog a la Peche and
Splat.
If you want something purely classical flavored then the Easley Blackwood
Microtonal Etudes cd is very nice.

I listened to some of what is below. It is not what I
was hoping for. That's okay. Maybe symphonyx is not
neoprog. I was told it was. The stearns music is far
different in any case.

You and symphonyx are both neoprog?
Your music is far different than symphonyx?

Neither - I think Dan means that it is just *different*. Of which I am glad, because there is so much that is the same anymore.
Cheers,
Jon
well "neoprog" is just one of those nebulous tags that either means
like so-and-so, or literally, I guess, "prog again", or "after
prog" . To me it personally means nothing. So yes, what i do is
certainly different than what you posted, however, I thought there
was the chance that someone who says "microtonal neoprog
suggestions" might also be interested to hear what i do. That's
all.
