Divide By Pi- 'Ice Ritual'

Divide by Pi's latest release, 'Ice Ritual', is now available at

http://www.cdbaby.com/dividebypi2

I think it's a great release, and musically and sonically well in advance of
our last. A prevelant obsession on this disk is Gene's 'aaron.scl', a 3-and-7
harmonic based scale. Background on this Fokker-block scale Gene discovered
is here:

/tuning/topicId_53040.html#53059

Of course, there are many aspects to Divide By Pi's music that are of interest
besides the tuning---primarily, timbre is hugely important. And the element
of the surreal, of course.

We hope you will buy and enjoy...

Thanks,
Aaron.

I was looking on the cdbaby website, and noticed the "digital
distribution" feature. Do you have that set up? I would much rather
download than ship, because I'm in the UK right now...

You're welcome...and you should know that your tuning was/is being put
to use quite often. I've used it in my 'Peer Gynt' on several tracks,
as well as lots of DBP tracks.

Off topic, I'm trying to contact you re:Choraled....I was taken with
it, and was insipred to do a 'variation', and before I post it, I
would want your approval. Maybe you haven't checked your email? The
'svpal' or whatever one that is....

-Aaron.

You can't easily contact me via svpal, as it's all spam, all the time.
Try genewardsmith at gmail. But you may as well go ahead and post your
variation, I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to hear it.

Just bought one. The samples sound incredible. I note the first thing
in the description:

"We are an experimental..."

Can't buy one yet--I put it on my Christmas list. :)
