Both my 34 tone electric guitar and bass have new refretted necks by Carruthers, which the late Larry Hanson had done sometime in the early 1990's, I believe. They did a marvelous job on both...the action is easy to play, and the intonation is exceptional...both axes stay in tune extremely well. I wouldn't hesitate to have them do another one if I need it done...HHH

Thanks for the endorsement Neil. I'll be calling him this week.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about their business side, as Larry Hanson was the one who shipped my guitars to me...and, generally, I've noticed that luthiers always seem to take longer than they say they will, so best to be patient...HHH

That's realistic. I think we all have had experiences with custom gtr work,
"it's almost done" drags on forever.

Thanks.
