Well, I've got a 56k dialup too, but you're using DSL, right? And to tell the truth, physical proximity to their servers should not be an issue at all; in fact, it would only be if a person's local connection was way off the routing that would slow things down.

And *none* of that has anything to do with a download cutting off. I am willing to bet my Prophet V that people like George that can't get these files don't have problems downloading multiple-mB files from other sites or ftp sites.
