Hi all,

I'm happy to share the good news, published in the Tribune and the Sun Times
yesterday, that my original score for Ibsen's "Peer Gynt", seen last season
at the artistic home <http://www.theartistichome.org>, has been nominated for
a Jeff Award <http://www.jeffawards.org/>

Here's a link to page 2 of the story as it appeared in the Tribune yesterday:

...scroll down to 'Original Incidental Music' to see the nominees.

I'm also proud to say that The Artistic Home, the company which produced
'Peer Gynt', also received two other nominations: John Mossman was nominated
to 'Actor in a Principal Role' for his masterly performance as the lead in
'Peer', and Kathy Scambiaterra was nominated to 'Actress in a Principal
Role' for her riveting performance in 'Natural Affection'. Hit the
'previous' link on the above link and scroll down to see all the nominees.
I'm honored to be in the midst of such company!

Things have been steadily progressing for AH; we are a young company, but our
last season made big ripples in the theatre community, and we are planning a
move from the current 28 seat space to something to accomodate our growing
reputation. Keep an eye out for our next production, 'The Madwoman of
Chaillot' <http://www.theartistichome.org/newseason.html> Thanks to all who
came out to support the shows, and we hope to see you in the upcoming season!

Cheers,
Aaron.

Very cool Aaron.

The positive critical response is always the icing on the cake.

AKJ,

Excellent on you! The other great thing is that you've got an ongoing, working relationship, and that is worth it's weight in gold. Very swell.

Cheers,
Jon
