Hiya Paul,

I looked through all the harmonic entropy plots I could
find, and none of them have very fine resolution. It'd
be great to get a large, losslessly-compressed plot of
your favored harmonic entropy formulation with grid lines
every 5 cents. Possible?

Can you do it yourself if I give you the data? Otherwise, I can do a
full-screen .bmp for you . . .

A full-screen bitmap would be great, but if it's a burden
the data will do. Actually it'd be nice to have both.

Thanks!

Done and done (see last two posts). I only went to 1200 cents for the
plot; otherwise the 5-cent grid lines would have been too close. The
data goes to 2400 cents.

Thanks! Could you give me a hint as to how to read the text
file?

First column -- cents. Second column -- entropy.

I forgot to state that s=1.2% for these.

I was just going to ask. Does s=1.0 change things much?

You can compare the graph or data I just made for you, or the graph on
the homepage of this list, to the blue line on

/harmonic_entropy/files/perlich/tenney/tcmp3.jpg

and see for yourself. You get a few more local minima at s=1.0%.

Could I get just the text file for s=1.0%?
