Hello.... Can someone direct me to an explanation of how 'harmonic
entropy' is measured? Is it based on the responses of human
listeners? thanks, Kelly

Hi Kelly,

Harmonic entropy is not based on the responses of human listeners,
but in some cases predicts those responses much better than widely-
accepted models like the Plomp-Sethares approach.

There have been quite a few posts on this list explaining how
harmonic entropy is calculated -- most recently,
/harmonic_entropy/topicId_707.html#708 . .
.

Let me know if you have any more questions!
