Confusion with spam

I'm getting junk mail, mostly in Spanish, that precedes the subject with a
[cm] designation. As this group employs the same designation, separating
the wheat from the chaff gets confusing.

Is anyone else getting this spam? Is it coming through the mailing list?

Here are the most recent examples:

>Subject: cm: Congreso "El Mundo del Emprendedor"
>Date: 20 Mar 2005 06:24:27 -0800

>Subject: cm: "COMPRAMOS TU SALDO DE TARJETAS A 4.99% ANUAL, HASTA QUE
CANCELES"

I have not gotten any of the described spam. Also, it's not showing up in
the messages section of the website, and messages sent via the group start
with "[cm]" and not "cm:", so it's not coming through the list.

I have seen that there are spammers who join yahoo groups in order to post
spam, but that hasn't been a problem here yet. This group requires approval
to join, so that shouldn't be as much a problem as it is with an open list.

The spams I get on the address I use for this group are of two types - one
is the 'get ur prescription drugs 4 cheep' type, the other is 'get photoshop
and winders xp for $5, garanteed orishinul", both which are very common
spams.

I have never gotten any spanish spam.
