Howdy everybody,

I have added a forum to my site for discussions about Li'l Miss' Scale Oven,
esoteric scales (like nonoctaves and non-just non-equals) or what-have-you.

Some really cool things about it:

* there are no ads like on yahoo!

* I have written a smart formatting parser so that it's super easy to write
posts more expressively (not possible here on yahoo) and I am putting in
special features to make it easier to talk about scales and the like (ratios
for example are identified and formatted in a special way).

* Also, you can embed graphics (like graphs and pictures of scales) inside
your post very easily.

* Privacy stuff -- no registration required, no email address required,
passwords are only needed if you want to later edit or delete your post
(this is not implemented yet but soon)

* If you do give your email address, I encrypt it in a clever way so there
is practically no darn way any robots will be able to figure it out but
people will still be able to email you.

* Collaborative work groups supported -- can set up groups with your friends
who are allowed to edit posts you choose too (so can do collaborative
editing like on the cool wiki boards). (not implemented yet but soon)

It's not perfect and will be under construction but you might like to check
it out for fun -- I had a lot of fun writing it so far and plan to make many
additions, a couple which are described above.

Oh, almost forgot, here it is:

http://www.nonoctave.com/forum/

It's experimental and may change but try it out if you like (*Especially* if
you are working on the cutting edge with nonoctave tunings or non-just
non-equal tunings or rational tunings.) Thanks!
